1. GENERAL INFORMATION ON DATA PROCESSING

We process personal data of our users only as necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services.

Where we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Art. 6(1)(a) EU-GDPR serves as the legal basis.

For the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6(1)(b) EU-GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures.

Where processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6(1)(c) EU-GDPR serves as the legal basis.

In cases where vital interests of the data subject or another natural person make processing of personal data necessary, Art. 6(1)(d) EU-GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, and the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override the first interest, Art. 6(1)(f) EU-GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

Personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage may continue if this is provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires unless there is a need for further storage of the data for conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

We use specialized service providers (e.g., for hosting the pages or sending newsletters) for the provision of our website or certain services on the website. These providers act as data processors for us and may have access to your personal data in connection with the maintenance and care of the systems. We have entered into data processing agreements with these providers as per Art. 28 EU-GDPR to ensure that data processing is conducted in a permissible manner.

2. PROVISION OF THE WEBSITE AND CREATION OF LOG FILES

Every time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.

The following data is collected:

– Information about the browser type and version used – The user's IP address – Date and time of access – Websites from which the user's system accesses our website

The data is also stored in the log files of our system. Storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6(1)(f) EU-GDPR.

Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.

Storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. Additionally, the data helps us optimize the website and ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data is not evaluated for marketing purposes.

These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in data processing under Art. 6(1)(f) EU-GDPR.

Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. In the case of data collection for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session is ended.

In the case of data storage in log files, this is the case after a maximum of seven days. Further storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. Therefore, the user has no option to object.

If the purpose of contacting us via a contact form or email is to fulfill a contract to which the user is a party or to carry out pre-contractual measures, the legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6(1)(b) EU-GDPR.

The processing of personal data from the respective input mask or in the case of contacting by email serves solely to process the contact.
